B-FEST in Athens, Greece
On May 28, 2017, I had the great pleasure to discuss Black Lives Matter and the Movement for Black Lives at the self-managed and self-funded, international, anti-authoritarian festival, B-FEST. The festival is organized by the political magazine Babylonia and this year's theme was, "We are ungovernable." I shared the stage with activist, educator, sociologist-researcher, and B-FEST organizer, Eliana Kanaveli, as well as with Apostolis Stassinopoulos, a member of the Babylonia Magazine editorial team. Here are a few pics from the event by Nickolaos Karman.
My fear of public speaking is SERIOUS. Here are 11 snaps of me before and after my discussion.
